    Arboretum Closes Third Fund with $140 Million

    Ann Arbor, MI-based Arboretum Ventures, a venture capital firm specializing in early-stage healthcare investments, today announced the final closing of its third investment fund with capital commitments totaling $140 million, well above the $125 million target for the fund.

    Riverside Co. Closes SBIC Fund at $137M

    Global private equity firm Riverside Co. has closed its second micro-cap fund at $137m. Riverside Micro-Cap Fund II (RMCF II), a small business investment company (SBIC) fund, will focus on investing in companies with under $5m in EBITDA.http://www.finsmes.com/2011/09/riverside-closes-sbic-fund-137m.html
