Aryaka Closes $25 Million Series C to Accelerate WAN Optimization as-a-Service Adoption
Aryaka (www.aryaka.com), the world’s first cloud-based WAN optimization as-a-Service, today announced it has secured a $25 million Series C funding round led by InterWest Partners, with participation from Presidio Ventures, a Sumitomo Corporation Company, and existing investors Nexus Venture Partners, Trinity Ventures and Mohr Davidow Ventures.

Kid site Totsy’s new allowance: $18.5M
Totsy, a flash-sales site that offers deals on merchandise for children and babies, all curated by merchandise-expert moms, landed an $18.5 million Series B funding, the company announced this morning.
Rho Ventures and DFJ Gotham, the company’s existing investors, were involved in the latest round, with Rho leading and DFJ joining in. As part of the financing deal, the managing partner of Rho Ventures, Habib Kairouz, who said in a release that “the team at Totsy did a remarkable job in executing on the concept and built a widely respected and trusted brand,” will join Totsy’s board of directors.

Egnyte Secures $16 Million in Financing Led by Google Ventures
Egnyte, the leading provider of cloud and hybrid cloud file sharing solutions for businesses, today announced it has closed a $16 million round of Series C financing led by Google Ventures with additional support from existing investors, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB) and Polaris. The funds will be used to expand sales and marketing efforts as well as further the development of hybrid cloud and next generation cloud technologies. As a part of today´s funding, Karim Faris, Partner at Google Ventures, will join the board of Egnyte.

Firespotter Labs, Makers Of UberConference, Raise $15 Million From Andreessen Horowitz, Google Ventures
Although it was only a month ago that Firespotter Labs CEO Craig Walker was telling us how his company (the folks behind UberConference, Nosh, NoshList and Jotly) wasn’t in urgent need of funding, today they’re announcing the close of a good-sized round – a $15 million Series B. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and saw participation from existing investor Google Ventures.
July 16th, 2012 – San Bruno, CA
Social CRM Provider Dynamic Signal Raises $13.3M Series B Funding Led By Venrock
Dynamic Signal, a leading provider of social CRM, content marketing and consumer engagement solutions, announced today that it has raised $13.3 million in Series B financing, led by venture capital firm Venrock. New investor, Time Warner Investments, joined the round along with existing investors including Trinity Ventures and Cox Enterprises.
July 17th, 2012 – San Francisco, CA
Kiip Secures $11M for Mobile Ad Rewards Network
Kiip Inc . is the latest of the group to secure venture funding, having just closed an $11 million Series B round led by Relay Ventures, with participation from existing investors Hummer Winblad Venture Partners and True Ventures . The infusion, which valued the two-year-old company around $40 million and did not include participation by previous investors Crosslink Capital or Venture51, will allow the company to expand distribution beyond gaming apps and establish a consumer brand in the form of a Kiip rewards wallet.

Tealium Receives $10.5M in Series B Financing from Battery Ventures to Extend Global Leadership in Enterprise Tag Management
Tealium, the leader in enterprise tag management, today announced that it has received $10.5M in Series B financing from Battery Ventures to help fund growth across the entire company as it continues to build on its market leadership and momentum in enterprise tag management.

Nauta leads €13.5m round for Mysportgroup
Nauta Capital has injected €3.5m into German e-commerce platform Mysportgroup as part of a €13.5m funding round.
UK group Boost contributed €5.5m from its debt fund, while Cipio Partners injected €2m into the company. The remaining €3m came from previous investors XAnge Private Equity and Grazia Equity, as well as minority shareholders.

July 22nd, 2012 – Stockholm, Sweden
Phase Focus Raises £3.2M in Equity Funding
Phase Focus, a Sheffield, UK-based developer and supplier of nanotech imaging and microscopy technology, recently raised £3.2m in equity funding. The round was led by Ombu Group, which made a £3m investment with participation from Fusion IP (AIM: FIP), which committed £220k and now owns a 34% shareholding.

July 22nd, 2012 – Stockholm, Sweden
Widespace Completes €3M Series A Funding
Widespace, a Stockholm, Sweden-based premium mobile ad network, has completed a €3m Series A funding. Backers include Northzone and Industrifonden. The company intends to use the funding to expand internationally and further develop its mobile advertising platform, which is already in use in over 100 countries.

RollUp Media Raises Seed Funding from Arts Alliance
RollUp Media today announced that it has secured €1.2M in funding from venture capital firm Arts Alliance and other investors, bringing total funding since its founding to €2M. The new investment will enable RollUp Media, which publicly launched in the UK and Australia in May, to continue expansion of its service to help niche and independent publishers grow their businesses profitably, by providing a bespoke suite of platform, tools and services.
July 22nd, 2012 – Stockholm, Sweden
13th Lab Raises €550K in Seed Funding
13th Lab, a Stockholm, Sweden-based mobile computer vision company, has raised €550k (approximately $700k) in seed funding. The round was led by Creandum. Led by Petter Ivmark, CEO and co-founder at 13th Lab allows developers to connect the existing web to reality by letting ordinary web pages render a user interface on top of the physical world through standard HTML and JavaScript.
